Problem Statement
- Our integration process required us to work with five different third-party applications. This included integrating with Longbow Product Information Management System, High Jump for warehouse functionality, Puma for purchase management, a middleware application for marketplaces and online shops, and dealing with the limitations of our ERP system.
- Specific challenges included difficulties with multi-currency transactions and managing multi-company transactions. Our current system, Microsoft Great Plains, was on-premises and lacked inter-departmental integration. It also had limitations in reporting and analysis, relying heavily on Excel and generating external reports via SSRS.
- In addition, our current infrastructure made global expansion and localization challenging, and we faced difficulties with order tracking and management. Managing sales representative activities and handling a large volume of daily transactions were also areas of concern.
Objective
Our goal was to overcome the hurdles caused by outdated systems, limited reporting capabilities, and inefficient processes in order to deliver timely orders and ensure customer satisfaction. We needed a solution that could provide us with accurate financial analysis and address our inventory management issues.
Sunbridge Approach
We approached the migration by upgrading from our older Microsoft GP solution to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. This decision provided us with 360-degree visibility of our online auto parts business.

To address these challenges, we implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. This powerful software allowed us to gain a comprehensive view of our business operations and make better financial decisions. It also provided seamless inventory management and replaced our previous warehouse management system.
